Hello Betty thank you for your kind comments, Life must have been hard back when these mines where working no home comforts like we have, I would think they enjoyed a smoke on there pipes as they sat looking out to sea watching the old sailing ships heading up the coast

Great photos of these wonderful old relics. I wonder if the miners had time to enjoy the beauty of the area on a lovely sunny morning such as this.
